Hi Reader,
At Paradhis Festival in July I ran 14 workshops in two days. The room was full but so was the schedule! So this weekend, at Verve Wellness Festival I’m just doing three. Actually two are my solo trumpet sets which I’m calling “A Touch of Trumpet” - bringing soft, calm vibes to the beautiful surroundings at Hatch House, Wiltshire.
The workshop is called “Our Minds on Music” which is a lovely exploration (and experience) of the science and the enormous therapeutic and communal benefits of music. And I will be playing my trumpet in that too, improvising and attempting to bring to life the different impacts that music can have on our souls. Who knew the trumpet could be such a soothing herald of health!
Verve Festival used to be run by Anna Hayward of the PIG Hotel group, who used to host our monthly PIG Dippers at Harlyn Bay. She is one of those people who just brings absolutely stacks of positive energy to everything she does. A brilliant human and a perfect example of what I am calling Quiet Conscious Leadership. Someone who moves people and makes things happen with humility, heart and hospitality.
I recently heard of another old friend who has got to the very top of their profession, essentially through being a really good person. This was so good to hear. They listen, care, and know what they’re doing but also know how to communicate and how to make other people shine. It’s a powerful combination.
A new programme I’m developing is called Rising C Levels: Calm, Confidence, Control, Clarity and Communication for Conscious Leaders. What do you think? Do you know any great examples of quiet, conscious leaders? Let's celebrate and support them.
See you next week.
Adam
PS The two people at the top of the photo are both great examples. As is the photographer. Any ideas?! Clues next week perhaps!
