Summer is coming around fast, and the weather with it - which is perfect because tomorrow I'm off to Verve Festival in Dorset to share some brain science and hypnosis with the lovely crowd there. I'm also playing a couple of live trumpet sets in the gardens. I've been working on some new material and it's going to be peachy!
This is all perfect preparation for the Hypno Haven at Paradhis in July which is going to be a veritable symphony of music and wellbeing.
I've also just had confirmed my Saturday session at WOMAD!! 25 July. I am almost beside myself with excitement but am applying my own medicine! The session there is:

Our Calm Advantage events a few weeks ago went really well and one of the main themes emerging was the value of peer connection and learning. In fact this was the main thing people wanted more of, and they want the sessions to be longer, and more regular. Great!
So from June onwards, I’m going to begin running A World of Calm as a monthly series. Not just as events but as a structured and supportive space for cultivating more calm, clarity, confidence and connection, over time.
The design is especially for people who are thoughtful, who lead (in any number of ways), carrying responsibility and having influence. People who want to feel calmer, think more clearly, relate more positively, and bring more calm into the world around them. The world needs you.
The process combines:
- practical neuroscience
- solution-focused psychology
- guided hypnosis and nervous-system regulation
- reflective conversation
- meaningful human connection
- and time to genuinely pause and reset
The aim is not escapism.
It’s to help people become more grounded, present and effective in real life. And to make the world a calmer place.
Monthly Half-Day Sessions
Last Friday of every month 1pm–5pm (Newquay)
These will be small-group, carefully facilitated half-day experiences in beautiful, calm relaxing spaces.
While each session stands alone, the deeper benefits will come through returning regularly - allowing calm, clarity and positive change to build and integrate over time.
Monthly Online Mid-Week Reset
Second Wednesday of each month 1pm–2pm (Online)
Alongside the in-person sessions, I’ll also be offering a shorter monthly online reset - a calm mid-week pause to breathe, reflect, reset and reconnect.
